Look up your 2026 ballot.
Only the ZIP code is required — add your street address to include county and city races.
Voting info and more
Entering a ZIP code alone returns the statewide and district races every voter in that ZIP shares, plus countywide races where that county is tracked. Adding a street address lets the lookup match your exact state legislative, county and city districts, instead of everything in the ZIP.
Every roster comes from certified state and county election office lists, and every race links back to the official election office so you can verify it yourself. Your address is used only to match districts. It is not stored.
Who is running in the 2026 midterm elections?
Every U.S. House seat, about a third of the U.S. Senate and 36 governor's races are on the ballot in 2026, along with state legislatures, county and city offices, and ballot measures in many states. The lookup above shows the ones on your own ballot. Election Day is November 3, 2026.
How do I find my local candidates?
Enter your ZIP code for the statewide and district races everyone in that ZIP shares. Add your street address to match your exact state legislative, county and city districts. You can also browse by state on the states page.
Where does the candidate information come from?
Rosters start from certified candidate lists published by state and county election offices, then add context from official campaign finance disclosures and candidates' own published materials. More detail is on the about page and the methodology page.
Is the lookup free and nonpartisan?
Yes. The Ballot Brief does not endorse candidates, and the lookup is free to use. A free embeddable version is also available for newsrooms, libraries and civic organizations on the widget page.
